It was probably the paint I chose for the trim (paint and primer), but I could still see brush strokes after it had dried, and he had another employee come out to do another coat in a very timely manner with no issues. Took a look at it and realized that some of the weather stripping was keeping it from closing properly. Took care of the problem and told me to take the new knob back and get my money.
